Can landlord sign an exclusive cable provider deal and force me to use only that provider?
I’m living in an Apartment building and my landlord has signed an exclusive cable deal with probably the worst provider in the area. Satellite is hard for me because of the orientation of my apartment.
Can a landlord legally force me to use only their cable provider?

For the most part the previous answerers are correct. I just wanted to add that more than likely your apartment complex had that certain cable company come out and Run All the cable lines in the apartment buildings during the building process. When this happens the cable company won’t charge the complex for the installation of those lines, but will make the complex sign a deal to where only that certain cable company can be used in that complex for a certain amount of time. These contracts can be for up to thirty years, so you may want to check with your landlord and see if that contract may be up soon.
