Abandoned car in the Albertson’s parking lot?
There is an abandoned car in my city in the Goodwill parking lot(one of those 90′s Mustangs that are little tiny things, like a hatchback), and it has a 48-hour tow warning on it, though its been sitting for a LONG TIME(my city is REALLY bad about following through with those) and the plates expired in 4/08, and the window is rolled ALL the way down, with the key right in the ignition…is there a way to find out the owner of it?(It has plates, and there is a vin number on it)? What would happen if I got in and tried to start it?(NO PLANS ON TAKING IT AWAY!)
I dont want to call the police, because then they will take it away!
I want it to sit there because i want to call the owners and buy it…they probably wouldent ask for much, they obviously dont want it.
better hope its not a bait car. Only thing you can do is call the city back and tell them its been sitting long after the tow sticker has been on it and need it moved. To check the owner you can run the vin at carfax and see who’s it titled to last.
So why do you want it to sit there? Its sounds like you just want to steal shit from it.
