Disney Merchandise Is Collected By Some
It is hard to think just how long Disney has been around for, and how much it has changed since the days of those black and white Mickey Mouse cartoons. They have been the thing that collectors flock too for just as long too. This could be the films themselves that are collected, and let’s face it Disney do not make many bad films. They are usually the sort that both children and adults can watch over and over again.
Then there is the merchandise that is released with every film. These days if a film is a hit with children then you can guarantee that the toys that accompany it are too. This could be dolls of Disney Princesses, to the vehicle that your favourite character drives. Luckily they all make great Christmas gifts 2011, and it is not often you get a toy that is not of good quality, so you are usually safe buying them.
Now the thing with this merchandise is that some of it is bought for children to play with, but some of it is also purchased by collectors who will keep it in immaculate condition to retain, or increase it’s value. That is not to say that they do not enjoy looking at them too, but they do not get played with and damaged in any way. Even though that is usually what toys are made for.
